Welcome to Kiddo+ ("Kiddo+", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kiddo+ website, mobile applications, services, content, courses, assessments, reports, and related features (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing content, or using any part of Kiddo+, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. About Kiddo+

Kiddo+ is a child development guidance platform created by occupational therapists to help parents and caregivers better understand child development through educational content, developmental activities, assessments, tracking tools, reports, and AI-assisted recommendations.

Kiddo+ is designed for informational and educational purposes only.

Kiddo+ is not a medical device, healthcare provider, therapy provider, diagnostic tool, or emergency service.

2. Eligibility

To use Kiddo+, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be the parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver of the child whose information is entered into the platform.
• Have the legal authority to provide information about the child.
• Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

By using Kiddo+, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your account information updated.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Accept responsibility for activities occurring under your account.

You may not:

• Share your account with other families.
• Sell or transfer your account.
• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
• Impersonate another person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Child Profiles and Information

Kiddo+ allows users to create child profiles containing developmental information.

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of information provided.
• Ensuring you have the legal right to submit information.
• Reviewing reports and recommendations before acting on them.

Providing inaccurate information may affect the quality and usefulness of recommendations generated by the platform.

5. Educational Purpose Only

All content available through Kiddo+, including activities, courses, developmental guides, checklists, reports, assessments, generated recommendations, videos, articles, and progress tracking tools is intended solely for educational and informational purposes.

Nothing within the Services constitutes:

• Medical advice
• Psychological advice
• Occupational therapy treatment
• Speech therapy treatment
• Physical therapy treatment
• Mental health treatment
• Clinical diagnosis
• Professional healthcare services

You should always seek advice from qualified healthcare professionals regarding concerns about your child's development, health, behavior, or wellbeing.

6. No Diagnosis or Treatment

Kiddo+ does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, developmental, psychological, behavioral, neurological, or educational condition.

Any developmental insights, screening results, risk indicators, or recommendations provided through the platform:

• Are informational only.
• Should not be interpreted as a diagnosis.
• Must not replace professional evaluation.

If you believe your child may have developmental delays or health concerns, consult an appropriately licensed professional.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Certain features within Kiddo+ utilize artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate reports, developmental insights, activity suggestions, personalized recommendations, and educational content.

While we strive to provide useful and evidence-informed outputs:

• AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a specific child.
• Recommendations may not reflect every aspect of a child's circumstances.
• Users should exercise independent judgment before implementing recommendations.

Kiddo+ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated outputs. Professional judgment should always take precedence.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through authorized payment providers including Razorpay and other supported payment partners.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process payments on your behalf.

Pricing

Prices are displayed before purchase. Applicable taxes may be included or added as required by law.

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified before any pricing changes affect future renewals.

Renewals

Subscription renewal terms will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. Where applicable, subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation prevents future billing but does not typically result in immediate termination of paid access. You will continue to receive subscription benefits until the end of your active billing period.

9. Refund Policy

For first-time Pro subscriptions, Kiddo+ offers a 7-day refund period unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@kiddoplus.com.

Refund eligibility may be denied in cases involving:

• Abuse of the refund policy.
• Fraudulent activity.
• Excessive consumption of paid content.
• Violation of these Terms.

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

10. Courses and Digital Content

Kiddo+ provides educational materials including video lessons, courses, activity libraries, downloadable resources, templates, worksheets, and reports.

These materials are licensed, not sold. Your purchase grants a limited, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use only.

You may not:

• Redistribute content.
• Resell content.
• Share login credentials.
• Upload content to other platforms.
• Record, copy, or reproduce videos.
• Use content for commercial training programs.
• Create competing products using Kiddo+ materials.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to Kiddo+, including branding, logos, designs, graphics, reports, assessments, activities, software, databases, course materials, AI systems, and educational content remain the exclusive property of Kiddo+ and its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership rights to users. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

12. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the platform.
• Access unauthorized areas of the system.
• Interfere with platform security.
• Use bots to scrape content.
• Distribute malware or harmful code.
• Harass or abuse staff or other users.
• Upload harmful, unlawful, or offensive content.
• Misrepresent information about yourself or your child.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaging in prohibited conduct.

13. User-Generated Content

You may submit information, comments, feedback, ratings, or other content through the Services.

You retain ownership of content you submit.

However, by submitting content, you grant Kiddo+ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, analyze, and improve Services using such content, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for content you provide.

14. Privacy

Your use of Kiddo+ is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how information is used, how information is stored, and your rights regarding your information.

By using Kiddo+, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

15. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable access to the Services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continuous access, or compatibility with all devices.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, security updates, technical issues, infrastructure failures, or third-party service disruptions.

16. Third-Party Services

Kiddo+ may integrate with third-party services including payment providers, analytics tools, communication tools, and cloud infrastructure providers.

We are not responsible for third-party content, third-party policies, third-party system failures, or third-party security practices.

Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kiddo+ disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and availability.

We do not guarantee that recommendations, reports, or educational materials will produce specific developmental outcomes.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kiddo+, its founders, employees, contractors, advisors, affiliates, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, special damages, incidental damages, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or emotional distress arising from use of the Services.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Kiddo+ during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kiddo+, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Information submitted by you.
• Misuse of recommendations or reports.
• Violation of applicable laws.

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated, fraudulent activity is detected, payment obligations are not met, or continued access poses security risks.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute resolution provisions.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

For material changes, we will provide notice through email, in-app notifications, and website announcements at least seven (7) days before changes become effective, where reasonably practicable.

Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

24. Entire Agreement
